John Davie 
has long experience in the training of venture capital and private equity investment
executives.   After working in manufacturing industry he joined 3i where he 
established and managed the programme which trained many of those who went 
on to become leaders of British private equity firms.   He subsequently became Head
of Staff development at County NatWest. and then, for twelve years, was Director
of Training for the British Venture Capital Association.   He has devised and
tutored training programmes for numerous UK and international venture 
capital and private equity related organisations.
